Zoe Saldana, born June 19th, 1978, was the son of Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her father was Dominican while her mother was Puerto Rican. Her mother is from Puerto Rico as is her father, Dominican. The family she was raised with moved from Queens, NY and to the Dominican Republic when she was 10, and lived there for seven years. Zoe discovered a keen desire to perform dances when living abroad. She started training in the ECOS Espacio de Danza Dance Academy to study ballet as well as many other dance styles. It was a fantastic outlet for an enthusiastic, lively kid. However, it turned out to be also a fortunate start to her professional career. She is featured in the Focus Feature film The Outfit 2022, directed by Graham Moore. She stars opposite Mark Rylance & Dylan O'Brien. The actress was nominated for "Best Leading Performance" for the 2022 BIFA for her role. Deutch will be next seen reuniting Katie Silberman to create their new romantic drama, Most Dangerous Game. Deutch worked with Silberman on Set It Up, Netflix's Set It Up 2018 hit.
